Privacy
This policy explains what Skyline Guess stores locally, what may be sent to our service, and which optional third-party services can run on the site.
What we collect
Skyline Guess does not require an account or login. The browser creates a random client ID so a game session can be distinguished from another session. It is not your name or email address.
When server persistence is configured, the site may send that client ID, game session details, answer records, score totals, and anonymous event data such as page views, game starts, game finishes, shares, and tool exports to Supabase. The application tables do not store your email address or a user profile.
What stays on your device
Best score, score history, daily completion status, and the browser client ID are stored in local storage when available. You can remove this data by clearing site data in your browser. The game remains usable if local storage is blocked.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics is optional and only runs when the site is configured with a measurement ID. If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense or another provider may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to measure delivery and personalize ads where permitted.
For more information about how Google uses data on partner sites, see Google's partner-site data policy.
Sharing and security
We do not sell personal information. Supabase is used as the application data service, and the site uses server-side validation before accepting public game records. No system can guarantee absolute security, so avoid putting private or sensitive information into the game or tools.
