Two communication towers from different generations.
Tokyo often shows two towers of different generations. Tokyo Skytree is the taller, a long lattice shaft with a slight flare and a stacked antenna. Tokyo Tower is shorter and more Eiffel-like, with a wider base. Together they sit above a dense but not supertall mid-rise carpet, sometimes with a stadium bowl or an arched bridge. The pair is the tell: two communication towers, not one Burj-like needle and not a three-tower hotel with a boat deck. If you see a very tall slim mast plus a smaller iron taper over a low city, you are looking at Tokyo rather than Seoul or Hong Kong.
